Have you ever sat down and had the urge to learn something new? Anything, and I mean just about anything? Every one of us has a special talent, skill, or expertise in one area or another. Some of us have even gone to college, hunkered down for our masters or even obtained the goal of earning a doctorate degree. Whether or not you’ve explored the avenues of secondary education, there’s always something new that we can learn from one another every day.
I’m a very curious person so knowing me, I explored what others had to say. Last week everyone close that I encountered, I asked this question to, “If you could learn something new today, anything, what would it be?”
Some of the answers I received were insightful, some of them were just hilarious, and others had no clue. One individual I asked this question to had a deep response. He listens to music every day and the lyrics to the songs are so inspiring and strong to him that he wanted to know how he can take those words of power and implement them into his everyday life. This made me think. What really makes people tick? The thirst for knowledge is always out there, people want to learn! I’m sure you’ve heard the saying, “You learn something new every day.” Well it’s true, and if you don’t feel like you’re constantly growing and strengthening your brain, you should. We all should!
There are endless opportunities to explore so we can learn more. We should never stop learning. How many times a day do you open your computer or phone and Google something? I’m constantly searching in Google. How to build a pond in your backyard? What’s the conversion from ounces to liters? What is the longest word in the dictionary? People are curious. People want to know, who, what, where, when, why and how. I found this amazing website called Curious.com. It’s almost like free training and teachings! Below are some great articles for you to browse through and learn something new! One of the articles is a link to Curious.com. Take a peek around and let me know what you think about it!
As always, if you are curious to know something more about what’s going on in today’s market, or how the S&P 500 is performing, or even just have a question on Social Security, don’t hesitate to pick up the phone and give me a call.
